Ray Forchion has appeared in film, television and stage. Aside from several pilots and TV movies, he’s co-starred on such series as Star Trek: The Next Generation, Will & Grace, Golden Girls, Wiseguy and In the Heat of The Night to name a few. He’s had recurring roles on General Hospital and Miami Vice. Directors and actors he’s worked with include: Ron Howard, Katherine Bigelow, Randal Kleiser, Burt Reynolds, JohnnyDepp, Josh Logan, Curtis Hanson, Keanu Reeves, Franco Zeffirelli, Cliff Robertson, James Burrows, Joe Roth, Tobe Hooper, Jay Roach, Robert Ellis Miller and others. He’s starred in nearly 100 commercials. In addition to playing O.J. Simpson in the award-winning CBS Mini Series, American Tragedy, he co-stars as Jeffrey Robinson in HBO’s 2008 EMMY Winner for best TV Movie Recount with Kevin Spacey, Tom Wilkinson, Dennis Leary, Ed Begley, Jr and Laura Dern.

Warner Brothers/Polychrome released his produced feature “CONFESSIONS OF A THUG,” a stunning hip-hop musical in which an educated street hustler re-examines his life. It’s won prestigious awards, including Best Direction from the San Diego Black Film Festival and was an official selection of the Urbanworld/Vibe Film Festival in New York. In 1992 Ray was a producer on “LAST BREEZE OF SUMMER,” made at the American Film Institute which garnered an OSCAR NOMINATION for Best Live Action Short. “THE HORRIBLE DR. BONES,” from Ray’s original Screenplay is available from Full Moon Releasing. H is recent feature documentary on indie films called “FILM HUSTLE,” was nominated for BEST PICTURE at the 2010 Action On Film International Film Festival and the comedy, “HIP-HOP HEADSTRONG,” is in the can. He is currently prepping “DUE PENANCE,” a crime drama, “CITY OF DARKNESS” a horror anthology and “THE SQUARED CIRCLE,” a wrestling feature for 2011 and 2012.

A recipient of the 1999 Team Player Award from the Black Hollywood Education Resource Center for service to the film industry, Ray’s skill with performers comes from his years of experience in front of and behind the camera. He served six years on the SAG National Board and chaired it ‘s Casting committee, EEO and Low Budget Task Force, which helped redesignand create the guild’s new low budget contracts. He has coached working actors, both privately and in his Motivational Acting Workshops and Seminars around the country for over twenty years….
